2012 San Antonio Catholic Homeschooling Conference & Book Fair
Planting Seeds for the Future

Antonian Catholic Preparatory High School
Through encouraging speakers and engaging panel discussions, we hope to bring together Catholic homeschoolers from across Texas and beyond, celebrating the unique way of life we treasure in educating our children at home!
Please note: the Homeschooling 101 Registration ticket option is for a special session on Friday night, May 18th for parents and others interested in or within their first year of homeschooling not yet sure about registering for the entire conference. Our keynote speaker, Dr. Ray Guarendi, is sure to motivate every attendee to view our roles as parents and teachers as crucial to the upbringing of tomorrow's leaders. Of course, as a veteran homeschooling father of 10, with his characteristic sense of humor, he likely also will encourage us to not take ourselves too seriously!
Other speakers will include several local priests who understand the dynamics of homeschooling, homeschooling mothers and fathers like you from San Antonio and across Texas, and representatives from homeschooling organizations and Catholic universities in Texas. Our panels are designed to give multiple perspectives on topics such as curriculum choices, special needs, and homeschooling graduates.
The vendor hall will be a great opportunity for homeschooling families to put their hands on materials from a variety of curriculum providers, ask questions of experts regarding those materials, and purchase quality materials while saving on shipping costs!
This event is family-friendly, and while we are not providing childcare, there will be several children's activities provided. Eucharistic Adoration and the Sacrament of Reconciliation will be available throughout the day, and we will close with a Vigil Mass on Saturday at 5:30PM.
